Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Thank you for your nice voice mail message. I think I've been putting off getting back to you because I wanted to take time and do it right. I've never heard so many compliments about a band at a wedding before in my life!

It has been interesting to hear people's stories after returning from the honeymoon. People are still raving about "that band" and asking if they play around town. It is funny, too. People have the impression that I really splurged to have live music. Maybe a little, but compared to other live music I considered, your band was a terrific value. And, can you really even compare your band to a D.J. -- there is no comparison.

Another interesting comment I heard this week was from a guest who didn't think you ever took a break. It was so seamless between sets that this woman seriously thought you played for four straight hours! That just proves that you kept the focus on Mitch and me, not on yourselves. That is exactly the way a wedding should be.

I look forward to watching as you grow Great Live Music, and I'm happy to do whatever I can to help. I only hope that I will have another occasion to hire you!

My sister says that other people should know that they can do what I did -- when you and I originally talked, I said that I didn't want to have a dance. And, more than anything, I didn't want to dance. My plan was to just have nice background music playing and if people were in the mood to dance then good for them. I certainly wasn't going to join them! Well, no one could resist dancing to Donovan Kovar, including me. Who was on the dance floor begging the band to stay another hour? That was me. Enjoying the best day of my life and not wanting it to end.
