I've never heard so many compliments about a band at a wedding before in my life! It has been interesting to hear people's stories after returning from the honeymoon. People are still raving about "that band" and asking if they play around town. Well, no one could resist dancing to Donovan Kovar, including me. Who was on the dance floor begging the band to stay another hour? That was me. Enjoying the best day of my life and not wanting it to end.

We had a smaller wedding located at a friend's home on Lake Harriet, and Donovan was our entertainment.

It was the most perfect day of our lives, and it wouldn't have been the same without Donovan. It was such a great alternative to a DJ, and he had us all dancing. He was polite, entertaining and fun! Everyone that was at our wedding told us how versatile Donovan was with the song selection and with what he could sing. Everyone said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. Makes us feel good and Donovan played a very large role in that.

We picked Donovan over the internet, going out on a limb choosing entertainment for our wedding reception without seeing or hearing of him. He contacted us many times, was very personable, and wanted to do everything he could to make sure our party was a success. It was!! Donovan rocked!! Our expectations were not only met, but exceeded by far. Everybody there commented about how great the music was, the atmosphere their performance gave, and wanted to book him for future events! Needless, to say, we were blown away with not only the musical ability, but with the way Donovan put us at ease, and set up everything ~ we didn't have to worry about a thing!! I would recommend Donovan Kovar without hesitation for any event!

Donovan and his band made our reception very special to us. Donovan went above and beyond expectations by taking the time to personally get to know us. The Band was able to meet all of our special requests no questions asked. Donovan was able to meet all of our musical taste, the Band can play the oldies as well as the new well known hits. We couldn't have imagined more perfect entertainment for the evening.

Planning a wedding is hard, and this is coming from a guy's perspective. We found Donovan and his band earlier on, and we excited to have them at our wedding. We didn't want a corny DJ, basically we wanted to hear the music we liked but in a live format. The band was great! We had compliments from everybody at the wedding, from old to young on how great they sounded. It made our wedding a blast, we danced all night, had the dollar dance, first dance, a friend of mine sang with him, etc.; we have only good memories. I would highly recommend him and his band, it would be something that you would not regret.
